The facilities and services under the direction of Primary Care Solutions Inc. (PCS) is a 24- hour residential treatment facility which operates at least 50 weeks per year and at a minimum of 5 days per week including holidays that services adolescent males/females between the ages of 10-17 whom present with Axis I and Axis II diagnosis.

These diagnoses can include youth with behavioral difficulties (aggressive behavior, substance abuse, sexual aggression, and other antisocial behavior), emotional difficulties (post traumatic stress disorder, depression, psychosis) and some Axis II diagnoses such as mild mental retardation, profound learning disorder, and pervasive developmental disorder.
Most consumers admitted into the Pueblo, Bella Marche, Harris and Chateau facilities will serve under the WM, MH, DD population. If a consumer has turned 18 while receiving treatment which over his age requirements he may continue in the facility for six months or until the end of the State fiscal year which could be a little longer.

The types of services provided will be but not limited to the following:
  • Adaptive Living skills
  • Basic to Intermediate Independent Living Skills Training
  • Behavior Modification Program
  • Educational Support Services
  • Group Therapy
  • Supported Employment
The primary focus is to provide a structured program customized to meet individual clients needs while maintaining a daily routine consisting of preparation of meals, completion of chores, daily house meetings, individual and group therapy consisting of anger management, self-concept, sex education, problem solving techniques, trauma and substance abuse groups to name a few. The Pueblo, Bella Marche, Harris and Chateau Facilities shall ensure that all meals served and prepared are nutritious and serves all client dietary needs.

The program will serve residents within North Carolina from various counties. Family involvement is considered as an important aspect of successful treatment. Therefore PCS will make every effort to facilitate helping families get more involved in their particular son/daughters treatment so that transition back in the community won't be detrimental to the clients treatment. PCS will offer transportation consisting of immediate family of no more than 2 family members if transportation is an issue but must be approved by Executive Director or Clinical Director.
